EY Africa Johannesburg Office, at 102 Rivonia Road, Sandton
Blue
System:
100mm PVC stormwater pipe inside one of the building’s columns.
Situation:
The stormwater pipe was leaking at one of the elbows inside the structural column.
Circumvention:
Because the pipe was inside a structural column normal repair procedures were not a viable option.
Solution:
Having cleaned the affected pipe using Nu Flow’s pipe cleaning system technicians inserted the Nu Flow blue epoxy structural liner using existing access points and
without any breaking open leaving behind a new pipe inside the old.
Red
System:
50mm drainpipe within concrete slab.
Situation:
The drain pipe was leaking inside the concrete slab.
Circumvention:
Breaking open the slab to access the pipe would cause disruption within the office block.
Solution:
Working from existing access points, the affected pipe was first sandblasted clean. Nu Flow’s patented red epoxy was then air blasted through the pipe coating the
inside and sealing the leaks. The end result is a relined pipe, repaired from the inside.
No Damage to the building! No Chopping open!
