Nu Flow relines two mansions in Hout Bay

Customer:
Two beautifully built but aged thatched mansions nestled in the Leeukoppie mountains in Hout Bay, Cape Town.

System:
Copper pipes ranging in size from 15mm – 54mm to all mains, flush master toilets and bathrooms for both mansions.

Situation:
Both homes were dealing with severe corroded copper pipe work all over the properties causing burst pipes leading to massive damages and an unhappy client.

Circumvention:
If the customer had chosen traditional pipe replacement to fix the issue, it would have been a very costly, destructive and labor intensive job since the pipes are located under thick terracotta tiles, under floor heating and behind 500 mm thick walls and tight roof cavities.

Solution:
The customer turned to Nu FLow in the Western Cape to take control of the situation and to coat all of the pressurized pipe work with Nu Line Epoxy Barrier Coating from Nu Flow. This process creates a barrier coating between the existing pipe and the materials flowing through it, eliminating existing problems and preventing future failures.

Both dwellings were successfully relined by using existing access points in the pipe system to without digging up finished tiles or cutting through ceilings and walls. The client and their internationally accredited project management team were blown away by Nu FLow delivery of the final product in record time.
