Sun City – Clam Shell water Feature
Location:
Sun City, Pilanesberg, North West Province, South Africa.
Situation:
The main 200mm PVC pipe to the clam shell water feature had a leak causing major water wastage and the feature to become non-functional. The pipe runs under a meter thick slab of concrete with beautiful stone paving and chopping the slab open just wasn’t an option.
Solution:
Nu Flow South Africa used pull in place structural liners to reline the leaking pipe with out having to break through the concrete floor or cause other damage to structures despite the pipe containing multiple 900 bends. Hotel visitors were able to continue swimming and enjoy refreshments while the pipe directly below their tables was repaired.
