Nu Flow relines Shower Drain Pipes at Virgin Active

Situation:
Virgin Active Menlyn Park had a serious drainage issue. The entire underside of the club was flooded undermining the structural integrity of the buildings foundations.
On closer inspection it was found that the pipe had deteriorated to such an extent that water was bypassing the line and leaking into the ground. The solid concrete structure and tiled finishes made it very difficult to get to the leaking pipes.
Replacing the pipes would have meant closing the Gyms shower and toilet facilities for weeks – this was not an option. Virgin Active was looking for an eco friendly, long-term solution to the problem. They turned to Nu Flow for the answer.
Solution:
Nu Flow South Africa relined multiple pipe size transitions from stainless steel, to PVC, cast iron and earthenware using Nu Flow pull-in-place structural liners working from existing access points. Nu Flow were not only able to provide Virgin Active with eco friendly, long term solution, but were able to solve the problem with out causing major disturbance to Virgin Actives day to day operation.
The end result is a new pipe with in the old pipe.
No Mess, no chopping open, damage to structures!
